Athlete, The Shepherd Guides You

"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." Psalm 23:1-4

Yesterday we sat and wrote out what our weaknesses were which is something that can be hard and powerful at the same time because it allows us to see where we can grow significantly.  However, have you ever heard of Pslam 23? It's a pretty popular passage. One that is often recited in churches. Look at where it starts with the word even.

Sometimes when we pick out a weakness it seems dark and scary but it doesn't have to be because when the Lord is shepherding me, I lack nothing.  So today as you walk from class to class, go to practice, think of how you allow the Lord to shepherd your life. How do you let him guide you or how has he guided you to where you are today?
