Athlete, The Word Became Flesh
Read John 1:1-18
Look particularly at verses 1 and 14 specifically as you read.
verse 1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
verse 14 - The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
I love that God makes some things so clear.
The Word = Jesus.
If you want to know Jesus, know the Word.
If you want to know who Jesus is, read your Bible.
Maybe it's time to read the rest of John 1 and be encouraged by who Jesus is and why people followed him.
